Bringing faith, community, and labor together to meet our housing needs.

Founded in 2015, the United Clergy Task Force (UCTF) is a non-profit, non-denominational development partnership comprised of communities of faith, foundations, educational institutions and local service providers committed to maximizing the economic and social benefits of affordable housing in economically marginalized communities. Project typologies are driven by market demand, the needs of the community and the overall initiative towards neighborhood revitalization.
Typologies include:
Low-income affordable housing
Senior housing
Veteran housing
Workforce housing
Our model is focused on a mixed-use program that can combine residential with a dedicated space for places of Worship and community facility that can be used for workforce training/educational programs. UCTF partner organizations own their own land and desire to remain in their role as social anchors and service providers, managing a blend of education, health care, workforce development and community amenities.
La Pica: UCTF in Puerto Rico
Our project is designed to convert a former youth incarceration facility into a center for education and skills development.
Our vision is a bold demonstration of positive, community-wide impact of investment in workforce development and education.
What is La Pica?
